"You are passing me over for him?!"  Snow looked up from the ever growing list of cities and nations he was to visit.  "And because you don't think I'm qualified to be chosen?!  I have more qualifications than he ever will!"

"Look I don't want to name someone who will not be accepted.  That would ruin my plans for the future.  If I appoint you and the Navy rejects you then my leadership falls into question and the Empire weakens."

"Here."  A piece of paper was placed in front of Snow.  "Is this proof enough that I should be the First Sea Lord?"

Snow looked over the paper.  "This could do.  I'll just have to think about it.  Of course I'll have to keep this with me to help with my decision."

"Of course.  I understand.  I hope that that will change your mind."

Snow smiled.  "Oh don't worry.  This will be more than enough."
